In 1889, the Compagnie Internationales des Wagons-Lits built the hotel Le Riviera Palace on a one-hectare park, ideally located halfway up the already famous Boulevard de Cimiez. Like most Palaces hotels in the area, it was converted into co-ownership after the war.
